Candida Arvizu, MS, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Candida Arvizu has worked in the human resource and consulting field for over 20 years. Since graduating with a Master of Science in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Missouri State University, she has enjoyed helping organizations strategically manage talent through common sense solutions and initiatives.
Her areas of expertise include addressing small business challenges, wage and hour compliance, FMLA administration, delivering engaging training solutions, leadership, and group processes.
She holds the HR certifications SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management-Senior Certified Professional).
She is involved in several professional organizations, including the Society for HR Management, the Springfield Area Human Resources Association, and the Branson Tri-Lakes Human Resources Association. She has served as the Governmental Affairs Chairperson for SAHRA and BTLHRA and has helped to organize their annual Legislative Affairs Updates.
Candida has volunteered her time on the Personnel Committee, the Programs Committee, and board of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Southwest Missouri.
